There’s no GPS, handbook or manual to help us navigate life’s many ups and downs. We’re often taught to; “Be Strong”, “Suck it up”, “Man (or woman) up” and lots of other useless one liners that really don’t help towards managing challenges. 

 

We learn to keep hurts quiet, and muddle through pain and confusion on our own. The good news is, you don’t have to manage everything on your own. Help is available, so you don’t have to suffer in silence any longer. 

 

I offer a flexible sliding scale fee plan from £50 to £90 per session, depending on your income, frequency and method of payment.   It’s my absolute pleasure and privilege, to be a teammate, facilitator, educator and guest in others lives.

Supervision

As with therapy, I aim to provide a safe confidential space that is designed to enhance your professional practice, knowledge, and attitudes. In order to achieve competency, and confidence in your professional identity, and in providing quality support.

 

My style is unique to the individual and diverse in approach. Merging and drawing on my integrative training and experiences, whilst still leaving plenty of room for you to bring all of yourself into our alliance.

 

I have a career that spans many sectors, which affords me the privilege of not only working with trainee and experienced therapists, I also offer supervision to managers, support workers, faith group leaders, prison staff, charity workers and blue light responders.

Eco Therapy

There is so much research into the benefits of movement and mental health. In fact  the charity Mind lists regular activity as one of their five  ways to wellbeing.

 

Outdoor counselling is not only a way to begin releasing endorphins,  by moving our bodies and changing our environment, we can alter our perception and start to see situations a little differently. 

 

Eco therapy is particularly helpful for those who are struggling with anxiety and depression. Low mood and feeling anxious can often cause us to want to withdraw and hideaway. Removing the potential intensity of eye contact can also be helpful within the neurodiverse community too.

 

Walking and Taking therapy is location specific and I can only offer this on the coast regions of central south Cornwall.
