about

Your mental health is no different from your physical body.

My belief is that mental health is no different from physical. There will be times in life where you have a cold, and others when you have more serious illnesses. If you broke your leg, you wouldn’t sit at home with your fingers crossed hoping that it will get better by itself. Sometimes we need some professional support to help us along the way and make sure that all that hurt heals well and doesn’t leave problematic scaring or issues that will haunt us down the line.

I’m not going to pretend that I can fix all your problems.

What I will promise you, is a pathway to manage them, and a route to who you want to be.

I will offer you a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your feelings. It may be uncomfortable at times; that’s normal and part of the journey.

Here is the world. Beautiful and terrible things will happen. Don't be afraid. - Frederick Buechner
